CanalSat plans 2015 complete switchover to DVB-S2
The French TV provider canalsat wants his satellite broadcast via Astra 19.2 degrees East to completely change the end of June 2015, the DVB-S2 standard MPEG4. Viewers need then necessarily an HD-capable receiver for the reception. CanalSat is not the only platform operator who plans such a switch.
