Hi,
Can any of the Canary Islanders with a 3.1 metre dish confirm or deny reception of bbc1,2, itv etc. after 6:30 /7pm?
My dish is now 3 years old, and I'm sure I used to get these channels OK at this time of year , but now they are unwatchable after the above times; but OK during the day.
If you have a 3.1 dish, could you have a look tonight and tell me if you can receive these channels without breaking up; or is it just my installation gone a bit awry?

All ok here in Gran Canaria. But I know there are big differences between islands. Mine is an offset dish.
 
Perhaps the wind has moved the dish?

It is a common problem in winter. It often takes only a small movement to send it out of alignment.
 
Famaval 3.1Mtr correctly set up and aligned to the spot beam should give 24/7 or as close as. It behaves this way in Lanzarote. Possible dish movement as mentioned.
