Cannot get 6in1 file to work at all ?

I have an Xtreme PVR and have programmed a fun 4 and fun 5 with daves and boris's 6in1 files ( trying both H and F versions ) and cannot get a single chanel to work no matter what the encryption.

I have firmware 5.09 on the box not the latest 5.13 and no pentacrypt or teracrypt.

Is there something simple I,m missing or do I really need to up the firmware and stick in pentacrypt ??

Have you programmed the cards using a common programmer ?

Some people mistakenly programme the eeprom incorrectly, either internal when its external, or vice versa
