cant connect box to my pc

spiderbox 9000hd with motorised dish.
My Location
Derry/Donegal
when i put my image etc on my dreambox at the beginning i used the dreambox control centre and conencted both dreambox and pc to the router with no problem. I have since tried to connect again and it wont work

i did lend my box to a friend for a week for him to see what he thought, could this be the reason? has the ip adress changed?

how do i get it back to connect to my pc?

Hi @jordie,

On Dreambox remote press: Menu...press 6 (Setup)...press 6 (Expert Setup)...press 1 (Communication Setup)...and read the current IP of your Dreambox.

It is best to have the Dreambox on a fixed IP. I use Address Reservation in my router. So the MAC address of my Dreambox is always allocated the same IP address even though the Dreambox is set for DHCP.
