Can't record under BH07

My Satellite Setup
DM800 running BH v012, 2 x Sky Minidishes with DiSEqC switch pointing at Astra 28.2E and Hotbird 13E
My Location
Derry, Northern Ireland
Just purchased and installed a Western Digital 320gb drive inside my DM800 today, can't get it to record and Im wondering if im missing something out?

I can timeshift OK with the yellow button, fast forward, pause and rewind whatever im watching. When I press the red button i get the prompt to select if I want to add record indefinitely, stop after current event etc.

If i select indefinitely, i get the red light on the front of the dreambox flashing a few times, but no recording. 3rd option to enter a duration crashes the box to green screen and reboot.

If I try to add a recording through the EPG info using "Add Timer" , the dialogue pops up with all the program details and confirm this, I get "Timer Sanity Error" window with "Channel not in services list" and just a listing for my EPG update timer which runs at 5am.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Hmm full factory reset seems to work for everything! :-)
 
This problem came back again, I've been resintalling images constantly for the last day trying to figure out what is causing the crashes, even upgraded to BH09.

Just a pointer for anyone who gets the same crash when starting a recording with the red button and a crash with "getservice failed" leading to a restart. I noticed mention of a conflict in the timer, the only scheduled timer setting was the EPG update I had to kick in every morning to refresh the EPG. When I disabled the EPG, this allowed me to use the red record button and schedule recordings without the crashes.
Now just gotta figure out how to get the EPG to work with it!
