Cant use my Canal Digital (danish) card

Hi

I just bought a Dreambox 7000s. Im having perfekt sat reciewing, but the channels that are coded i cant see. I have a paid for Canal Digital card. Do i need to download some software for the card or what do i have to do?

1st have you got your box set up with internet connection/networked ??
If so download newcamd 6.09 and you can use that with your card.
ie ....Blue button/ download cams/ newcamd 6.09.
 
Hi again

When i press the blue botton, i there is no option to download new cam. There is only the info button. I use the Gemini img. Im new at this, so if you could be more specific. I have internet connection.

Have you read the Idiot's Guide, especially the networking part? Do you connect via a router? Can you ping your DB from a PC on the network (if you have one)?
 
yes, i have connected to the dreambox and can control it from my windows pc. My problem is that i cant find the place to download newcamd 6.09
 
I found the blue botton finally. But when i try to connect and download addons it says that it cant connect (check network settings). Thats strage because i can ping the db form my pc and it has internet connection via my router.

Now i finally got the network working. Bought the Dreambox used, so the previos owner must have done something to it. It helped with a factory reset ang new img install. I now have downloaded the newcamd, but still no picture at the coded channels. What else do i have to do?
 
Have U started the newcam ?
 
U need to download the cam config also.
If it is a conax card sownload the camd instead and the camd config.
