3m(28.2E),1.5m(19.2E.13E,10E),1m (4W ,7W)1m (?).diseqc 10,sky plus,VU+,telergy iptv.
Satlook nit colour + Horizon hdsm.
My Location
Limassol, Sunny Cyprus
If I took my sky card out of my sky+ box and put it in to another new sky+ box,will it be able to record?

Well I do not have one but my understanding is that the card has to be married to the box before you can record one channel and watch another
 
Thats what i first thought,but i think that sky send two activations,one to marry the card to the digibox and another to register the card for recording,because of experience of delays between the card receiving channels and then being able to record.Just a hunch,I wanted to try a new sky+ box and see what its like before I buy.
 
That is interesting and you may well be correct but I cannot verify for reasons mentioned before. Post back if you do find out ;)
 
I'll try it tomorrow for you zorba, I have a new one here and will try my card in it. :)
 
Sorry for the delay zorba, just tried my card in the new box and it works fine on live pause and record. :)
 
Nice one.Thanks Rolfw,now I can unpack the new one and play with it,although I know the sports will not work.
