Card Sharing with DM 800, newbie needs help please

Hi guys,

Am new to the forum, after reading through out the forum for an hour, I thought I will post my problem hoping you guys would help.

Am about to buy a DM800 tomorrow for card sharing purposes I have 2 different cards (Showtime & Orbit) that I would like to share them with couple of my friends. Am a total newbie when it gets to these kind of stuff, but I have been reading for sometime now. I have a 4mb adsl connection, which I hope is enough anyways I will start with my questions, forgive me for my noobness

1)to my understanding so far, with each DM800 I can share 1 card ? that means if i want to share 2 cards, then i need 2 DM800 ?

2)A part from a internet connection, cards, PC and the Dm800 do I need any other hardware's ?

3)Is this something that I can manage alone ?

4)so far I know that for sharing I need a image and there is alot of different types out there, which one is best for sharing ? gemini ?

5)After installing the Image , I have to install CCcam ? I already managed to get 2 different types of tutorial for CCcam so I will follow one of them

that's all for now, I would appreciate any help, as a payback for your helps, If my card sharing did go successful, I will share a tutorial of the steps I took with your helps for other newbies like me.

A: You may be able to use an external card reader for your 2nd card. The smargo smartreader+ for example. Do the research to see if the cards you want to run can be used in such a reader

A: You'll need a Router.

A: Yes definately

A: There isn't an image for sharing specifically, using the DM800 you should run Nabilo Blackhole , no question about it. Its by far the best image and feature packed.

A: Using Nabilo you can install the needed addons including CCcam from the addon server included in the image.

A: There are plenty of tutorials covering everything you need to know here on the site.
