cardsharing on dm box

Hi ,all
Its very confuse for me,I did read tooo many posts and tutorialsevrywhere about how to set card sharing and each one has different methods and opinion,and confuse me more and more maybe im slow or stupid abit

,just please help to save my eyes .I have Dreambox 500s and Irdeto 2 card i want to share with my brother who has Dreanbox ,my understanding I just need (and only thing i have to do is ) edit and add F line to CCcam.cfg on dm box that has Irdeto 2 card ,And Add C line to CCcam.cfg my brother DM box .is that all what i need to do to share the card?!! i dont need to add or configure any other files?!! thank you.

note: Im using the internal dreambox slot as reader.

Right ok, here goes once again. You are the server so you need to set a port to listen for incoming connection, namely from your brother. You need to give him access , and if your dreambox is on a router you'll need to open a port. So, what goes in the CCcam.cfg ... I'll tell you.

In your CCcam.cfg you need

SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
F: brother password 1 0 0 {0:0:1}

Thats it ! thats all you need. Don't worry about the numbers, it will work.
Now, because you have specified port 12000, as mentioned earlier you'll need to open that port if your behind a router.
So, in your router setup, forward port 12000 to the IP address of your Dreambox.

Lastly, your brothers CCcam.cfg

C: your-ip brother password no

Thats it, just one line , nothing else. notice the 'brother' & 'password' match the entry in your box on the Fline.

I may be wrong but looking at your location I don't think your card will share with CCcam, I believe you will need to use the latest version of NewCS which v1.62.
