Dont get your hopes up - most major football game feeds are encrypted. Its a rare occurrence to find a major game in the clear.

what about a crappy game?

Carling cup does have some pretty lousy games at times lol.

Just keep checking the satelliweb site - the lads on there find most of the feeds going.

24.5W would be a good place to look too. There's only the Dagenham and Redbridge game on 10e

Looks like 2e tonight. Ones just shown up on there

What are the best codecs for feeds through a PCI card? the 4:2:2 ones come up green for me and I could only find an Etymonix trial that worked

Green blocks can also indicate a threshold signal with 4:2:2.

What does that mean?

I had a quali-tv about 4 years ago but could never work it so sold it lol

ISTR one of the newer boxes does 4:2:2 as well - Azbox maybe??

Elecard will get you 4:2:2, and take your pick of the H264 codecs for DVB-S2. Core AVC or FFDshow etc.

Ah right will get Elecard thanks

A lot of free codecs will do 4:2:2, if you have DVB Viewer try all the codecs you have.

There is nothing special about 4:2:2, it carries the full colour information before being resampled for rebroadcast after editing.
