Bought an LG Freesat (& Freeview) TV in the summer; freesat works well alright but the Iplayer which it's supposed to have has never been activated; got wind that LG was offering Humax Foxsat to disappointed folk with proof of purchase; got on the blower to LG two weeks ago; shiny Foxsat arrived today; luvly jubbly.

Thanks again everyone; I seem to be enjoying a run of good luck with freesat products from the beginning as, last year, I had also chanced on a clearance of the Gufsat HD which I bought for £23 and change (when VAT had just been reduced).

You telephone them; better to have your receipt handy; also you should already write down the serial number on the back of the TV. After speaking with them, you will have to email or fax them a copy of the receipt/proof of purchase.

There are two phone numbers --- better use the 01 (not the O84 thingy); I don't remember the phone numbers now but they are on _joinfreesat.co.uk (scroll down to middle of home page or thereabouts); good to read of other people's experiences there as well. Good luck

I think that is very good of Lg, most companies would just make excuses.
