Just seen this on a "ticker" on CNN. Apparently 2 pet cats and 8 big cats (lions and tigers in Bronx zoo) have tested positive for covid 19 infection in the US according to the CDC. They are recommending anyone with covid 19 symptoms should avoid petting their animals and find someone else to look after them if possible.

I´ve been following the daily " minute by minute " update on RTVE ( Spanish equivalent of BBC , roughly )
They reported a few days ago about a tiger in the Bronx zoo, apparently one of the workers who looked after the big cats had tested positive for the virus. They also mentioned confirmed cases in domestic cats in other countries, I remember Belgium being mentioned. They also added there have also been cases in dogs.

I remember the tiger in the bronx zoo as news from two or more weeks ago! (When we saw it on the news here in Belgium)
