Why do CBAND TPs register as KU TPs on E2 (Vix)
ie. the channel TPs show the 5 digit not the 4 digit - i have to blindscan as i cant manually tune one in...?
also, on circular sats - it still reports either H or V
odd.
thanks

What image are you using?
It sounds like it might be an LNB configuration setting? Are you using a different LNB number in the E2 image for C-Band compared to Ku-Band?
It should be possible to change the polarity of H/V/L/R in the scan menu to the correct designation.

Thanks MB

Its Vix (a year old probably now) - octagon 8008.
I thought my settings were correct.
I have 1.2m KU on Tuner1 - and the 1.8m going to Tuner2
When i blind scan, it all comes in, but the freqs report as H V and 5 figure, and not the true freqs.
Minor, but annoying.

Yes, sounds like an LNB configuration problem to me too.. I have C Band on LNB 2 LOF, 5150. Make sure the correct LNB is selected for the satellite you are trying to scan and it even should let you scan in LHCP and RHCP.

In tuner settings you have to select correct LNB (C band) for each particular satellite and band..

In Blind-scan menu you can select the polarity with the left and right button on your remote.

I hope this'll work for you.

ahhhh thank you guys!! yes, ive never done any of that!!!
i dont often use E2 for CBAND, i only plug into it for tweaking signal when at dish, using the phone app - so its never bothered me too much.
then plug back into GTMEDIA COMBO
