Cccam 2.0.5 not seeing other peers

My setup
Dreambox DM500s.
Cccam 2.0.5

Before I upgraded from Cccam2.0.3 to 2.0.5, I had a problem where I could receive other peers but they couldn't receive me. Now since the upgrade, I can't receive or send at all, even though the box is connected to the internet and is connecting with the gemini server etc. etc.

Have port set to 12000. My router has them open on TCP/UDP but still I don't seem to connect.

Can anyone help?

Did you make a backup of your CCcam.cfg file before upgrading CCcam?

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I tried "http://dreamboxIP:16001" and it comes up page not found.

I have backed up original configs to a wordpad file and copied them in to the 2.0.5 (the c and f lines)

Replace "dreamboxIP" with the IP address of your Dreambox e.g. 192.168.0.11

Sorry - I'm being thick! I see what you mean. It logs me into the Ccam info pages, but I'm getting no servers and no clients.

Are you using a dyndns account and is it still working?

On the servers page of the CCcam web config page, is the HOST server shown valid?

it's showing no connections at all - no names in the list, nothing,

also just checked my dyndns account and it's all fine.

Latest CCcam is 2.0.8
Perhaps it might help to test with this newer version.

For some reason I can't get 2.0.8 to fit on my dm500s - lack of memory, yet I've uninstalled all unnecessary skins and cams.

Delete all files from /tmp and uninstall older versions of CCcam and any other emus, although I can't see it making any difference.

1 GigaBlue Quad plus, 1 Dreambox 5620, MOTECK SG2100A DISEqC Motor, 120 cm noname offset dish, Humax 95 cm offset dish and a few UK digiboxes.

Just a tip: Sometimes when the dreambox is starting to ply up, it is well worth installing a fresh image - many times it solves all sorts of funny issues.
What I do - I install an image, sort out the network, channels etc, and then do a backup with FW. That way it only takes 2 minutes to back up.

Now other peers can see me, I am logging into the dreambox ok and a peer tonight confirmed that he could see me! I did this by resetting the Bthomehub, setting up the dyndns feature on there and refreshing at dyndns.com (incidentally, is doing this manually the only option, and if so, how often is required?)

Now I have new problems!

1)My card is working fine locally, but cannot be seen via cccam at all.
2)I can only seem to connect to 2 or 3 peers at any one time, no more.
3)For some reason the peers keep disappearing (card count drops to 0) then reappearing a few seconds or some minutes later. Is this normal?

Any help gladly appreciated!

You can install a dyndns service on your PC to autoatically update dyndns; it also has a user interface and places an icon inthe systray of your PC.

My money is on BT Homehub being the cause of the problem.

Looking at other forums this seems to be becoming a very common problem. If someone here has experienced it and solved please do let us know.

No-one is going to hold your hand and guide you step by step,although we will give you some general tips.

The cam should be available through the blue button
