Yes, release note says -963 support
 
Just doing some reading and it seems that sky uk works directly.
You have to add a 4 byte hex key to CCcam.cfg
BOXKEY: <device> <byte1> <byte2> <byte3> <byte4>
example BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 00 11 22 33


Apparently sly IT is not fixed in this release

EDIT:- yes all working fine in the internal reader with the boxkey in place, ill leave it for a bit and see how hot it gets
 
cool, great news. A lot of people will be glad to see the back of NewCS.
Time for a new config creator me thinks !
 
what was so bad about NewCS? i have it running along side of CCcam and find it fine.
 
only trouble is it dosnt seem to be compatible with the omnikey reader (unless I'm doing something wrong)
 
CCcam is not compatibe with PC/SC cardreaders.
 
If i wanted it to work for the Card reader on my linux server would it be /dev/0 ?
 
ahh there goes my question then, so wouldnt be able to use it on my server anyway.
 
There is nothing bad about NewCS , its a great CS. It's just that people like the simplicity of running 1 program to handle everything.
 
I wonder if this new release updates the uk card, or is mgcam still a requirement for another while....??

I am having trouble getting this running on my server, when i swap the CCcam file with my 2.1.1 file i get Segmentation Error. Does anyone know what this could be?
 
I would guess it is a corrupted executable. Try downloading again and make sure you use the corrcect executable. Also be carefull to transfer as binary from PC to server
 
Does this new CCcam work with 0963 and Smargo? Has anybody tested this yet? I will give it a go tonight.
It seems the guy that told me a release was imminent was right, sadly he was wrong about it fixing Italy's problem.
 
CCcam usually works great with Smargo. So this should be great for all who could not use the Smargo and their sly card with NewCS.

I also hope it updates the card - that would really be fantastic.

andel, that change is not new mate. It was made several releases ago. Using the smargo remains the same.

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
