I have to agree with tom. My 0963 white sly uk card is in a ubuntu server and if I monitor my own DM8000 or DM800 they both pull an ECM every 4 to 5 seconds so do the math on that. If I leave my DM8000 on an encrypted channel all night, in 24 hours it's gonna request around 17000 ecms. Now , consider this. If you give a peer a 1 hop reshare and he has 3 peers its quite possible you could see 4 ecm requests every 5 seconds coming from that 1 peer. So work that out, that's a lot. I reckon you're looking at around 70000. This is all based ofcourse on the latest NDS3 encryption system. Some of the older systems don't request as frequently. If you want to make sure your server is running as well as it can, I highly recommend using the CCcam function, SMARTCARD SID ASSIGN. Using this makes sure you only respond to ECM requests that you already know you can honour. It simply takes away the time that CCcam attempts to respond to a request that it can't do. This is my stats since my last restart of the server. Uptime : 13d 20:03:20 Connected clients : 21 Total handled client ecm's : 588484 Total handled client emm's : 7 Total handled LOCAL ecm's : 511227 / 511290 (99%) Notice, over half a million ECM requests and a 99% success rate. Can you match that ?
