Hi All,

I found this text file on crosat with an upload date of 11/02/2009.
There is no sign of the Emu on crosat, nor Gemini downloads!
a. Is it likely to be true?
b. Does it sound good?

Best wishes, John.

Suspicious.

"TRIPLE DRAGON receiver support"

TD images have never supported Cccam in any flavour. Neutrino/Enigma needed, not compatible with the TD.

I understand CCcam is on release version 2.0.20 at the minute. I'd find it odd that they would jump straight to CCcam 3.0 from there. So, id take this with a healthy pinch of salt.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I thought it a bit dubious, so that's why I asked for other opinions.
However, you have both raised points which make me ask further questions:

1. I thought the Triple Dragon could do anything a Dreambox could do. Key packs (ever since TD appeared) are usually labelled "Dreambox/Triple Dragon Keys". So I naturally assumed the TD could use the same Emus as the Dreambox. Which Emus can the TD use and which can it not use, please?

2. The latest version of CCcam that I have seen is CCcam2.0.11. This is both on crosat and in Gemini Downloads for Gem4.6.
Where is CCcam2.0.20 available from, please?

Many thanks and best wishes, John.

Hi John

Emus that the TD can use -

Newcs
Camd3
Evocamd
Newcamd
Mgcamd
Radegast
Gb*x

As I said, Cccam will not run in the TD (different API)

Newcs/Mgcamd is invariably used by most TD owners.

Yes, keys are the same for both receivers.

Hi Llew,

Does lack of CCcam mean that Triple Dragons miss out on some of the short term "open channels" that have occurred lately? On my 7000, I find that CCcam is often the only Emu that will work with the "open" channels!
I think this is due to constant cw but may be wrong.

Best wishes, John.

I'm not sure about the others, but Mgcamd is also capable of doing what you want. Usually.

It all depends on the format of the keybundles you use, For instance there is a bundle available on satandream thats been packaged specifically for CCcam + Mgcamd

This CCcam 3.0 list has been floating around on many boards for many months and it ends up in the same place TRASH BIN!!!:p

It's more like a wish list by someone who had too much time on their hands:cool:

I think you can guarantee the next version of CCcam will be 2.0.12 ;)

I double checked that this evening, I had misread it in the addons menu.

CCcam2.0.2 came right after CCcam2.0.11 in the menu. I took it as being sequential and read it as CCcam2.0.20.

Ooops!! :) Sorry for any confusion
