All the above prompted me to check the 2 m/cs here that still run 32 bit OS - luckily both had been updated to W10 and I had never bothered to reinstall & update CCleaner since then, and so just deleted all the relevant folders. Phew too!

Oh Boy! Just completely uninstalled 5.35 which somehow got installed today without me even opening CCLeaner - I was on the free version, and that is supposed to update only when you tell it to, but that seems to have happened automatically.

Now for some more deep malware scans!

Yes, it's an automatic update, even for the free version.

The only change from 5.34 is the Digital Signature.

Not for me. I just opened Ccleaner up and it's asking if it can update. Maybe it's only automatic on the 32 bit versions?
