Got my first 100ml of Lithium Grease inside Christinas actuator...with no waste or spillage ..
That 100ml syringe was a sound investment..
Injected through the drain hole after reducing the syringe nozzle about 0.5mm OD diameter..
will run the screw from limit to limit between fills ..but hoping to get at least half a kilo in there..

Took a break from filing ally ..and with the weather about to change ..
seemed like the right time.

Well so far it appears worth the effort ...
Window open atm ...soon to be closed as it's getting cold ...but I can hardly hear Christina move accross the arc ..
Previously the squeals and squeaks were enough to wake my cats in the next room..
I'll shove another 100mls of grease in tomorrow ..
So far I've shoved in about 300mls ...about 50% was ejected again from the drain hole during jack compression stroke ..in the form of a thin grease worm..
This was collected in a bowl ..and re-injected into the jack.
Each time the grease was squirted out again ..but each time the ejected quantity was less.
I can only conclude it is making its way through the system gradually.

Being lazy I tend to use the Servisol spray or the cheap Comma stuff, but this looks good.

The proof of course is if it stays silent when the weather is freezing. With the amount of stuff you are putting in it should!
