Channel 5 on an SL65 STB

comag porty II (camping)
Pace Prima (analogue)

Hi all
For anyone who is interested, when looking for Channel 5 fta on an SL65, it is not tagged as 6335, but strangely it shows as bbc news 24.

Found this by mistake after trying to tune my own SL65 into channel 5.

Hope this info is of some use :)
 
My SL65 showed it as 6335! -- fiendish beasts they are.

Pity I can't remember how to rename a channel.

Anyone know? --- & please try to do it yourself before telling me .. thxs:)
 
To rename a channel, go to menu, channel organiser. In the options at the bottom, 6 is "rename"

Hope this helps :)
 
No need to rename 6335 now - just delete it and rescan and five will magically appear :D

I still really would like to know how to rename on an SL65.....or at least know why I can no longer do it on mine! -- Vil it take ze orders, if I knew where to find them?!

I hope it's not going like the Porty where you needed to hit 'default' to make the darned thing work every few months :(

Thxs ht I wish it did help :(

On my example the nearest I have in the menu is 'channel setup' which leads into 'start up'..... & nothing else.


& message to AS........still 6335 at my end after a rescan of the tp.



Are there any other 12volt receivers worth knowing????
 
Had to do a rescan after an update, (AB IPbox 9000hd) and "6335" has gone and "channel 5" has appeared in its place on 28.2.
