Well I had a client that was moving to another house with a Famaval 2.4m dish. I took the dish down and we put it face down on his Nissan Primastar. He didn't have any proper straps to tie it on and even though I told him it wasn't good enough (he said it was ok cos that's the way it got there in the first place) he tied it on with string and hook-on bungee ties. The plan was I follow him to the new property and help him off with it. Anyway on the motorway near Benidorm going about 90km/h it came unclipped and took off like a big frizby. Luckily for him it went straight down over the edge of the motorway (wrecking itself in the process) rather than into the carriageway.PaulR said:I strapped a 1.8m dish to the roof of my car and took it 1000 miles through England and France.
