try it rich, i was using a very old one before my new one arrived, i did not gain that much with new lnb and cable, but it makes a big difference on the fringe 3/4% is a lot :-).

Looking forward to your seeing it all set up-plenty of pics!!!!!

Thanks for all the advice. Much appreciated help from all the people on the forum, Will post more pics when i get it up & running :-biglaugh

Hi all. Due to probs with the nabours ive got to go to a smaller dish setup so ive got this lot for sale. NOT HAPPY.
I can see their point. It detracts from the beauty of the chickenwire fence :)

I'd tell the neighbours to 'do one'. It's not even on the house :(

Cant do that Rima, regulations over here are 2 dishes max, 1 not exceeeding 1 metre, and the second, not bigger than 60cm, on a house. And in some places they are tighter than that. If its in plain view of the road they'll tell you to take it down if they want to be awkward.

My folks garden in Oadby is the same layout Rich but they have 6 foot fences up. Mention that to your neighbours. Mind you that would ruin your lowest horizon somewhat.

Had the dish down the bottom of the garden with no probs. But ive plans for some building down there so ive had to move the dish.
Put the dish on the side wall before not a good idea as it catches the wind a lot.

May be I do not understand something, but if that piece of land (backyard) belongs to somebody, why having 1,2m antenna on it should be approved by neighbors?! Maybe moving antenna to the very end or corner of the backyard can save situation?
I think that 1,2m CM is much much better than usual 80cm dish, that is like changing Mercedes to Trabant. ({}) Not good idea.
