Hi, I would really appreciate if anyone can help me with this one. I've just received my CM 2.4M, but the feed support arms seem to be damaged. I am uploading some pictures. My questions are :

1. Should the side arms be perfectly straight? Mines are not.

2. Is the third, shorter arm straight?

Many thanks

I've created a separate Topic for you rather than leaving your query tacked onto the end of a "Pictures of Members' Installations" Topic

Looks right
The longer ones are the left and right the shorter is the bottom one.
The two you have pictured together looking down the hole - one looks to be missing the insert and snapped off.. Are they almost the same length minus 20mm on one of them?

On the first picture the bend halfway down the top one shouldn't be there. Was probably done when trying to pull the arms to adjust the LNB position. Too much and they bend and crease. Straighten it and give it a splint. Should be ok

Thanks, trigger. This antenna should be brand new... at least this is what I paid for :) If you look at the middle one on the first pic, it's also not straight, it arcs in the middle, but not as much as the one you mentioned. Even the third one is not straight in the middle.

Sorry I thought it was second hand. Are the 2 longer ones the same length - as I think one is missing the crimped nut?

Yes, they are the same length, but you're right the nut is missing.

What are you going to use the dish for? Shoud be interesting to see some receptions reports....

Hellas at 39°E for Bulsatcom. But when I set it up I will try as many satellites as I can and will post the reports. Now wish me luck with the setup.

surely if its brand new you can put a claim in for a new set(damaged in transit)
