Hi
I’m in need of a c120 feed horn for channel master dish
Bought one from eBay but it got lost
Anybody can help be great
Thanks

A long neck universal LNB will be fine. Inverto IDLR-SINL42-EXTND-OPP Single for a tenner on Amazon, or an Inverto Black Ultra twin for about £20 would work well.

Thanks I’ll look into that it’s just I like the look of the c120 but guess they are hard to find

All that R+D and you believe a universal feed can compete ?

I have a CM feed horn which came with a couple of SMW singles, both were comfortably out performed by an Inverto Black Ultra.

Same findings here ..... on my Channel masters - ...... not by such a big margin on the 1.8 ... but on 1.0 metre and 1.2 metre - the black ultra and a some other modern l.n.b.f,s were notably better than the C.M. feed / C120,s

sad but true - i have a Smart Titanium LNB to clamp \ convert onto CM feed horn as a test

As per the other feedhorn thread, I will take some dimensions this weekend, the feeds that I had were for receive and transmit and may have a waveguide that is tuned for uplink frequencies. Receive characteristics in the 11-12GHz band would be less important, opening the guide diameter by 1mm may help improve things.

Just did a quick test on 1.9 east 90cm CM 12168V 30000:
Inverto Black Ultra Twin: 9 - 9.5db
SMW Single LO 10.750 + CM feed horn: 10db

Then it started raining. The SMW + feed required an increase in elevation. Will have to test some once the weather improves.

Just tested again with clear sky:
1.9 east 90cm CM 12168V 30000:
Inverto Black Ultra Twin: 11.6db
SMW Single LO 10.750 + CM feed horn: 10.3db

This is more like how I remembered it was.
