The mother and stepfather of BBC presenter Charlie Dimmock are missing in Thailand following the Asian tsunami disaster and fears for their safety are growing.
Maureen Sue Kennedy, 59, and her husband Rob, 60, of West Wellow, Hampshire, were in the Thai resort of Phuket when the massive waves struck. They were due back on Saturday.
The spokeswoman for Charlie Dimmock said: "Charlie's family have not been heard of since Boxing Day."
The Ground Force star is said to be desperate to fly out to the area to search for her family.
