Drat. Reuters is behind a tree here so I'll have to make do with 10E and hope it isnt raining too much!

I may have only 10e, 13e, 19.2e and 28.2e if weather is going to be bad.

Updated spreadsheet to include Reuters information.

Samoa & Tokelau are jumping forward 24 hours tonight - missing out Friday and going straight to NYE!

Hmm that might mean there might be something for GMT +14 if they are on summer time this year?

Sounds good to me, they might make a big deal of it with the time change also.

I wonder how many renditions of Abbas Happy New Year we will find this year :D

And how many wrinkly rockers will be found in eastern Europe :-rofl2

An interesting BBC article about the weird and wonderful world of international timezones

A special from Iceland this year:

A live stream direct from Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik will be broadcast on New Year’s Eve to allow viewers to experience New Year’s Eve in Iceland from anywhere in the world. The Icelandic telecommunications company running the live stream, Mila, will get viewers the opportunity to see Reykjavik light up at the stroke of midnight, when hundreds of fireworks illuminate the city’s skyline, turning day to night. Those watching will get to experience the exploding rockets and dancing lights sparkle and shimmer as it happens. For an idea of what to expect, watch last year’s celebrations.

Mila also maintains other spectacular webcams, which are spread out across Iceland via its website. These locations include the Blue Lagoon, Gullfoss, Jokulsarlon, Geysir, Katla, Hekla, Eyjafjallajokull, Akureyri and Austurvollur in Reykjavik, and can be viewed live, 24/7.

To experience the live streaming as it happens, tune in on 31 December via

Iceland is the same as the UK, so 0000 uk time

Just saw a glimpse of the Edinburgh's Hogmanay Torchlight March on APTN Charlie on 10e. Wasn't quick enough to get a screenshot, now I'm going to look for feed of it elsewhere, it even had analogue style sparklies!

Edit 19:49 it's back.

I wonder how Toby and Admiral von Schneider are today?

I find Miss Sophie's friend Mr Winterbottom a terrible old bore. The same old every year.

Well here we go again - its NYE, and the tv fun starts in a couple of hours :)

Ive been trying to find a working webstream for Radio Kiribati (+14) but none of the ones I can find works.

Do we have any timings for DF1 ??

Got to find a showing that doesn't clash with any of the "must see" Pop Around t'Clock stuff on 3Sat.
