Happy New Year to everyone what ever timezone you might be in. 2020 was a grim year - raise a glass of whatever your poison may be that 2021 is better all round.

Thank you to all our contributors, if you made 1 post or 101. Personally 2020 was a difficult year - I had 2 family bereavements within 10 weeks , and being under lockdown wasnt able to go to the funerals. Sooo 2021 you better bloody be better than 2020!

Interestingly enough last years Hong Kong display was cancelled because of protests so it will go 3 years without a display the next one should be a good one.

Funchal managed to deliver a spectacular this year after years of not much so there is a good chance of Hong Kong delivering.

Tonight New York will be without the crowds and the CNN coverage will be unwatchable without Kathy taking the piss.
