Remember, all these "trimax", "openbox" or other such meters are still made in china.

I personally use B/W model, since has much greater battery life and sunlight visibility.

Just take notice - since screen is so low res (320x240), most labels and digits on it are barely visible, and this quotation includes photoshopped photos, not actual ones.

Can't be bad at that price, even if it is used as a basic sat finder. Would almost buy one as a reserve.

I am not buying it to watch TV on Bombed One. Resolution looks ok, The Satcatcher Digipro is only 120 X 64. As Rolf says, It won't break the bank if it turns out to be crap!:-lmao

I have one of these and it works fine. I would say a slightly brighter screen than the Trimax but basically identical as far as usage goes.

Battery life is reasonable when charged but does not hold the charge for that many days b4 it starts to slowly drop and u need to recharge it.

Trimax , openbox , dsm all the same . most go wrong in the first month unless your lucky ! made to china quality control standards ! bad batteries, constructed from a basic miniture satellite receiver with satellite receiver derived software and they just added an lcd screen. not accurate and very hard to see the screen detail outside and very slow lock speeds when you are moving the dish! if you want a small tv and receiver to take on picnics to mess with or a new toy for the kids at christmas ,buy one cheap and forget about warrantee, spare parts or any support at all . Sorry to be so truthfull about this piece of rubbish , but as a manufacturer it annoys me that they market this toy as a satellite meter , when it doesnt work! give it a wide berth.
