Cheapest Method to Advertise

I would like to advertise a software product that I am authorized to distribute.
My website doesn't generate enough traffic and I need to advertise the product on a website that is very active.
What is the cheapest method to do it?
I thought of LinkedIn but it is very expensive apparently with banner size 50x50 pixels.
I don't want to open an account with FaceBook, but I might change my mind if I know the numbers.
Same goes with Twitter.
Google with their pay per click method could make me starve to death.
Any ideas please?

Ebay maybe?????? If your an authorized dealer for that software I think you could use them, but they charge 7 to 10% depending on the amount of the sale.

I am not allowed to sell on any website like eBay, Amazon, etc., but advertising is OK.

Software should sell itself if it is any good.

Customer reviews from your sales should be posted on social media and added to any advert, either by name, or a link back to your url.

You could have it all converted to vinyl and glued to your company vehicle ala B sk yB, or if you are really going for it, mow the lawn with the logo and link to it on Google Earth.

If you spot those little cars with funny periscopes driving round , bung the driver a shekel or two to slow down as he drives past.

Every little helps.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

My first thought would be something like Google Adwords, with the proliferation of their ads everywhere, you're bound to generate hits using such a service, there are other services available but the google option is the most popular (of course!)... :)
