I have managed to get an analogue receiver from a bloke at work, and it worked first time. And the particular channel I was after is there.
With one cable attached I get German tele, and with the other it appears to be French T.V.


Of course, now I am getting greedy.....
I have read about getting English football etc. Is it possible on the set up I have- or is it a digital job?
 
It's a digital job, and a lot harder to do.

If you can find Eurosport (Probably at 11258V on your german cable) you might notice quite a few programs where you get simultaneous German and English commentary.

They abuse the stereo to play German to one speaker and English to the other. You will probably find an Audio button on your remote to select either Left or Right Mono.

I don't think you'll get english football though. But they do show a fair amount of motorsport and wintersports.
