Ok, who thinks we're in for a very cold winter? Cos I do, it's been a pretty cold year, and as it's getting pretty cold now it's probably going to get even colder...

On another note, my satellites.co.uk cap is nice and warm after I had the ol' mop chopped... :D

I hope we have a proper winter too... :D

You know, I just had a thought, to keep a mesh dish snow & ice free, you could weave a small thread of wire through some of the holes in a spiral pattern then hooking it up to a low voltage source with an LED or something inbetween the wire & power source (to stop it burning out cos of the short circuit that the wire would make), and Robert's your mother's brother.... :D

And I have an 80cm mesh dish to try that on... :D

(if only I had the wire!!!)

It has been very cold in the mornings these last few days, it has to be said. ;)

Depends mate What is a proper winter ? :)

We will have snow, plenty of it

AND cold as hell:-rofl2 a few weeks when we will see -20 C or worse

Normaly we have -10 for January and Feb. I can live with that (I have 2)

But I don´t like it . 10 dm of snow (I can promise at least 7 dm)

The positiv thing is that it gets ligther, the snow is still white.

The wind usually comes from the NORTH, cold and lonely :)

BUT then after Feb it is March and we see the sun again.

So I think I should have been born as a bear, they sleep it away
