Christmas tree has no base

My brother came over yesterday with a plastic Christmas tree. He asked if I wanted it.

The thing stood six feet tall and came with lights, tinsel but no base. How was the thing gonna stand up??

I know: a house brick (the ones with the holes in), all wrapped up in lovely Chrismassy paper. :D

When you have brains there's always an answer. ;) That said, I haven't tried it yet. :eek:
 
One of those 1 or 1.5" wood drill bits could get the tree secured into your living room floor.

Great idea! Drill a hole through the floorboard and drop it in. After Xmas take out the tree and bung in a cork. May have to drill through the carpet, if so use a hole cutter and keep the cut out bit to bung back in later.:-rofl2
Be careful if its a shag pile carpet, a few drinks and you may think you've scored.

I'd advise wall mounted T&K brackets with the T at the top of course.....
 
Be different this year, hang it up-side-down from the ceiling, we did that one year in the dorm, and decorated it with the latest collection from the last pantie raid.

It was an over all hit that year, but next year the Gals were ready for us, they all went pantie-less that week, they were no fun.

(I guess that pantie raids are a thing of the past when sexual harassment law suits came around, dang lawyers take the fun out of everything)
