Hey, Christmas is just round the corner! What gifts would you like Santa to bring you?

I'm going to be very modest and just ask for a C Band LNB, a 1m80 dish, oh and a new roof for my Citroën 2CV Charleston....

I'm going to be even more modest and just ask for an Astra 2F/E/G side-lobe in Helsinki. ;)

I hate Christmas and ignore as much of it as possible.

Bah humbug :D

(Ive even got a Christmas hat with BAH HUMBUG on the rim!)

I can beat that, I've got the Bah Humbug fairy lights :D

Must be a Midlanders thing. Were all miserable barstewards down here. Must be the crap weather.

Anyway, i've got my Pressie now a shiny new Amiko Alien 2 and boy what a disappointment that turned out to be.

Nano

Wishing for a few days away from the in laws would suit me down to the ground.

Just spotted a very nice Christmas present on the well-known auction site. It's located in Leicester, UK and cosists of a used Toroidal Multi-satellite dish with LNBs and 8-way diseqc. Looks very good. Item number is 121041142224. There's also a smaller 55cm one, looking slightly rusty. Item number 300836922639 , situated in Hertfordshire.

I wouldn't mind a vu+ solo 2 or ultimo receiver.

Have a great time, all of You Hope Your wishes came true

Tomorrow's Euromillions jackpot and a WHOLE Citroën 2CV Charleston... O-Ha

2cvbloke, if we're upping the stakes to a whole car, I'd love a Méhari, great for driving around Galicia when it isn't raining. I've only ever ridden in one once, on the beach at Narbonne Plage many years ago, and I was smitten!

One of my sisters has just remarked that my birthday, in January, is a "big one," so if I drop enough hints in the right places you never know... Maybe I'll "forget" about the urgent need of a 1m80 satellite dish for a few months, and concentrate my efforts on the Citroën A series front! The trouble is SWMBO rather fancies an MGB, but maybe that can wait a couple of years...

Anyway, Season's Greetings to one and all.

Just enough localised seismic activity to flatten the small incline to my east that stops me getting passed 69E, it's not much to ask is it?

Hope you remember your special friends on here when you win

Hope you all have a happy peaceful Christmas

Next doors tree to die, now ive cut one of its 4" roots with my birthday sabre saw ! so i can get past 26E. Merry Christmas to all of you

Father Christmas must have thought I had enough satellite related goodies to be getting on with, but he did give me a subscription to 2cvGB, the deux chevaux club of Great Britain, so that can't be bad!

Id like a sub to all the main European services so I can pick up all the new channel launches and screencap them.

Honest - I really cba with most of the programming available - Id rather listen to my rock cd's than actually watch the telly!

I was going to set the spare DM800HD up until the new remote turns up for the Gigablue.

Guess what the HD800 is foobared aswell its only two weeks old :-lmao

Its developed a fault on the sound output. Its hissing quite a bit and the sound has gone distorted

Don't tell me i've got to use that feckin Alien 2. Aghhhh!!!!! :-lol
