Well it has to be a source of origin that subscribes to the language of the USA, unless the "Center" is ironic B)
 
Just an affectation, as with 'Plumbcenter' here in the UK I suppose. I think, but can't prove, that Arabians use the UK 'centre' when transcribing into English.
