Whats your favourite classic comedy sketch of all time ? Mine is the two ronnies four candles sketch from 1976, not sure if this was filmed in colour, the video looks a bit like its been converted from b&w to colour.

It's a cracker....a christmas cracker, one of the best sketches ever by the two Ronnies
 
Another one of my favourites "Two Soups", Julie Walters in a Victoria Wood sketch playing an elderly waitress.

Oh yes I love that clip, Trigger looking round to see where del's gone LOL classic stuff !
 
Another ...though unfortunate and unintended comedy moment that was both very sad but viewed retrospectively...very funny.
The moment the gentle giant of comedy..Tommy cooper ...died ...live on stage.
A great loss indeed ...but I suspect even he would have agreed ...that it looked very funny ..as though part of the act.
He kept me laughing ....throughout his life ....and right up to the end.

..as this _could_ be very upsetting to some.
I prefer to remember him as a the very funny man that he was and a national treasure.
 
It's classic stuff how it still makes you laugh even though you know what is going to happen, don't make comedies like this anymore. it's doesn't have to be offensive to be funny.

Can't beat the Fork 'andles sketch... :D

Though, it did drag on before the punchline, but I guess comedy back then wasn't like what it is today... :confused:

And I think it was originally recorded in colour, it's just that recording is poor quality (VHS I guess!!!) so the colour is a bit squiffy... :)
 
Only fools and horses was the best comedy series ever made in my opinion.

I could always delve into the archive of Benny Hill material, but that will be for later.

This couple of minutes on Shooting Stars was probably the funniest thing I have seen over Christmas. First broadcast in September though
