My Satellite Setup
1.8m Dish, most Sky and Freesat receivers, 80cm on Illusion motor and Dreambox DM7025, TDT, TDT HD, Ariva 100e,
My Location
Gandia, 70kms south of Valencia, Spain
Saw this on the DM site:

Climber Kevin Schmidt, of South Dakota, climbs to the top of the KDLT-TV antenna in Salem

He's seen in stunning footage as he makes his ascent precisely and steadily, clipping his safety gear to the tower as he goes

At the end, he pauses for a well-deserved selfie — but not before changing that lightbulb

Custom built PC
My Location
Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
I've done this, one of my first jobs as a Jr. Engineer at a TV station was to go change the second to the top strobe light on the tower, (1800 feet) (they don't use light bulbs) I was 26 at the time and fearless, now I can't get 3 feet off the ground without going nuts.

Nowadays I find standing on one leg is not as risk-free as it used to be.

Dibnah promoted the useful stuff, it was John Noakes that did the stuff of insanity for his keepers.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!

Saw a John Noakes interview a few months ago where that "climbing stuff" was mentioned - "elf & safety" was not then considered a "priority", and JN seemed to agree that, on reflection, it was probably "not a good idea" :D
