My Satellite Setup
1.2 m Echostar at Twotec twinrotor with lnb changer
My Location
Nijmegen Netherlands
I have to make a lnb changer for a CM 2.4 m offset dish .
Can someone tell me the exact size of the dish , hight , wide and dept ?
Also like to that both half parts have the same dimensions .

Youu have asked this before, from memory I've posted the answers, or at least a link to a series 243 reflector design.
Hang on a mo.

Wim! Red digits on the collage are for 2.4m CM. Have fun with changer.

An absolute beauty.
The mount is an Apexsat H2H mount for large dishes.
Constant movement vs clicks across the arc from eat to west.
For 2.4 or even slightly bigger (could probably do a 3 meter).
Have one on the roof at work with a 2.4m CM...

Channel Master 2.4m galore

Updated my collage with depth. Measurements should be taken at the very middle of the dish.
Edited: I have changed the picture for the most updated one as of 16th August 2021.

I wanna buy a dish like that, where can I find it?

In the nearest satellite shop or on the second hand market. Easy like that!
This brand is rare, but its super high quality, Its not found locally here and I cant import it, so I need to find a good offshore seller who has this dish and someone here who has license to import it

A steerable 2.4m Channel Master ? Unlikely

From the other thread I think you will need two reflectors and respective groundstands, is it to be roof or ground install ?

Btw. I do have two here (in the UK), second hand but fully functional.

Try to contact SSS (Satellite Super Store), for sure they can help you.
Thanks for the tip but ouch £4319.95

But before, you did not mention price restrictions. Then look at the local shops and flea markets. What did you expect, price-vise, shipping outside Egypt?

we do have some US prime focus dishes here but I don't think they are going to be the same quality as Andrews, its not your fault, I appreciate your help :)

I think there are lots of offset Andrew, Channel Master, Raven dishes in Egypt, you're just not familiar with all their locations. :) BTW, Prodelin brand is more or less same quality built antenna, if you find one, take it without hesitation. And do not expect that you will get 2.4m antenna shipped from outside Egypt for very little money. And, if you can get 2.4m prime focus, made in the USA dish, just take it, it will perform not worse than an offset one.

Ok. So there is a 305CM Prodelin for 400$ but I am not sure if its legal size here, there is no official way ok knowing so far, some say its ok others say its not.
There are also DH, Anderson and Paraclips 240CM at similar price

Find it out whether it is legal or not. Most likely, there should not be any problems if you install one.

Will do, I forget to mention that its fiber glass not aluminum, the others I mentioned are smaller in size but aluminum, how does that affect the signal?
