I always wondered William-1, here where it says bit rate 60,000 is this down to a software fault?

It is probably a mistake (6000), now these are the average (ranging from 6900kbs and 7100kbs).
Seguramente sea un error (6000), ahora estas son las medias (oscilando entre 6900kbs y 7100kbs).

BitRate .- Video 7048kbs, Audio 192kbs.

Can't check because missus has the remote but was still FTA at 6am this morning, low signal for a DVBS transponder I noted.

Scanning with DVB Dream just now does show a red V so it's gone encrypted, shame, guess only viewable with a Sky box now

Just deleted 50290 then re scanned & it came back no encryption CNN HD has just ceased broadcasting on this frequency atm.

The channel is fta, but no audio or video or a nice black.
Ahora mismo 1:43.
El canal esta fta, pero no tiene ni video ni audio, un bonito negro.

Update, did not see the post/Actualizo, no vi el post.
Careful they are not the same channel, one is the channel 50290 with SID: 50290 (CNN broadcasting in HD) on a tp DVB-S and the other is the CNN channel SID: 50220 (broadcasting in SD) in the same tp.

Cuidado que no son el mismo canal, uno es el canal 50290 con SID:50290 (CNN emitiendo en HD) en un tp DVB-S y el otro es el canal CNN con SID: 50220 (emitiendo en SD) en el mismo tp.

Technical failure/end ?? good question/Averia tecnica/fin ?? buena pregunta.

Hmm this is really weird, I tried with my 5402 M3, changed the pids and still nothing, seems only certain boxes will get it like yours

That is CNN SD.

CNN HD (tagged 50290) is still there in the mux and unencrypted. It's just not broadcasting. Will keep an eye on it....

All the satellite charts that I have looked at say Astra 2G

Yes, it's Astra 2G Europe as it's an easy catch in Finland, unlike the other satellites...
