Columbo Dies

A sad farewell to a great actor.

Yes, sadly missed. The Columbo stories were rather unusual in that we were aware of who committed the murder and often how it was executed right at the start; the interest was in how Columbo solved it.

Yet another TV Legend from my childhood disappears...
Now I think there's only William Shatner, Robert Conrad and Lee Majors left. Sad, sad, sad.

He was a household name way back in the 70s and 80s with his series Columbo. What I liked about him in that series is that he gave the impression of being a slow witted Detective whilst in actual fact he had already 'homed on' on his unsuspecting suspect.

Very sad. Watched all of Columbos recently - thankfully he'll never be forgotten.

I used to watch it when I was 14 or so, used to really like him. RIP
 
Yes, most unusual in being a Howdunnit rather than a Whodunnit.
