combining two seperate feeds

i have run a rf out cable from a fta reciever to another tv (to watch same sat chanel on diferent tv) and i have also run an attena cable to the same tv. do i need a diplxer/ combiner to get both signals onto one cable?.... to plug in the attenna socket of the second tv
make sense...i hope so!!

Then, you should be ok with the usual "coax splitter", sold in most DIY stores for around £3. Used in reverse!

Note that, these are resistive, so have a small 3-5 dB loss, but that's no problem with standard UHF tv, and also ok for Freeview if a good signal.

If your Freeview signal is marginal, then a lower loss satellite type splitter (also used in reverse!) might be better, but make sure it's wideband, for both UHF and sat i.f. frequencies.
