Comet Swan is currently in the southern skies, growing its tail.

Comet C/2020 F8 (SWAN)

New comet C/2020 F8 SWAN has developed a ionic tail which in this wide field image obtained on 2020 April 21 can be seen with 2 degrees length. My simulation suggests Comet SWAN is traveling around the sun in a period of about 25 million years. This means that the last time it swept through the inner solar system may have been during the Oligocene Epoch, when Paraceratherium, a genus of hornless rhinoceros and one of the largest terrestrial mammals, was walking the Earth.

An interactive map, which if you move forward in time, suggests it can be seen at around 5am tomorrow morning, almost due East from this location, but will be quickly marred by the light of the sun.
