Conax & Cams

As far as I am aware there are 3 main Conax compatible cams: MR, X-Cam and Dragon Cam. My question is am I able to put the conax keys on any of these cams without having a titanium card, since I am looking to buy a new cam but cannot afford to also get a new programmer and tit card since this will double the cost.

Also of the three above what do you think is going to hang around the longest, since I believe the MR cam has been out the longest.

Just thought it was best to add in here that I have funcards and a non-pheonix infinity card reader.

Just I am under the impression that you can put the keys actually on some of the cams, I guess the update is done via a funcard update.

The Dragon cam is updated through a special card that requires a pheonix compatable programmer, and it must support 6mhz as well.

Once programmed you can update the keys via the remote, but it takes a while :)
