Conax is upgrading it's encryption????

On another board I read canal digital on Thor has already shipped out new cards and instructed users to insert them into the recivers in one wekks time!

Is this the end of Canal digital on Thor for us???:confused :(

Can anyone confirm this!

The only thing that anyone will be able to confirm is what you've just posted PipiSATTV, only time will tell whether the hack will stop working. I will say though that my canal+ channels are acting up already, could be the weather though.

A post on another board by a subscriber of the package!

They should start it on 13th may and completely change it to 20 may!

Anyway they got free publicity now i guess they think we've had enough.

But this is not 100%. Maybe there's still hope!
Because no-one knows if they're upgrading to CAS5 or are they just changing the MK with this card change!

Damn it I hate to say this but I guess those people on the other board we're right!

For now there is no more free conax channels on Thor!
They changed to key 20 again but probably with a different MK so I guess this is really over for us!

But as you say it does not look good since you say they started issueing new cards.

News is it shut down around 10 o'clock this morning.
Why is it such a problem for whovever read the original cards to read the new ones, I don't understand these things.
The annoying thing is i would quite happily subscribe to the bleeding channel if they would let me.
Annoyed, and without anyone to rant at.
