conax question

so some packages using conax are open using a diablo cam, right? bit on the expensive side to buy though if you need the programmer too....
so, will there eventually be a software cam emulator, and ultimately a patch for the technomate box's? was nagra2 originally open only with a cam module?

are the basic technomate's powerful enough/suitble for opening other packages with using patches?
 
You can never be certain what will be available in the future, but as well as the Diablo Cam, Canal Digital, 1W, and DigitAlb, 16E, are also open using the MII+ card.
 
but what about cam emulators and patch's? how did the one for nagra2 come about, has there been other ones that have worked in a similar way in the past?
 
Sorry, there is no chance this will be implemented on a public EMU.

Because as soon as that happens, Diablo will stop supporting conax, and then there will be no new codes.
