Confirmed: Sony Movie Channel to be FTV.

Not being a FB user is it not going to be part of the Freesat line-up then? They'll miss out on a lot of viewers if they're not.
 
My guess would be rights issues and lack of cheap UK footprints. Perhaps it's cheaper to sacrifice Freesat viewers ad revenue rather than buy space on 1N?

Its worse than that - Freesat carried Movies4Men 2 has been sacrificed to get Sony Movies on air.
 
Is Movies for Men 2 really worth the effort of watching ?
 
Nope, it looks like Sky are putting them on the one year probationary period to see what the ratings are like, before giving them a cut of the subscription money.
 
It has now been encrypted and is showing a promo for tonights 5.30pm start.​
 
How can you tell it's showing a promo when it's been encrypted and you have an ex-sub box? Do you now have a subscription?

Reports have suggested it's FTV, so an ex-sub card would show it.
