connect to TP ? i get this msg

Hey Guys,

i have a satellite receiver and when turn it on on the screen it says (Connect to TP) and it is freezing i can not change anything it just stuck and i cant do anything i restart it and changed cable and all but nothing happen still i get that msg please help me guys if you know the solution for it

What's the Box's make and model? Without that info it's very difficult for anyone to answer your question...

Hello there,

the model is TEVION DFA2005 satellite receiver and when i turn on this box it says connect to tp and nothing works when i press remote button or manual switich up n down arraw in the box no hardware or software work it just shows connect to tp

any help would be appreciated in advance!

Sounds like it may have initiated an off satellite software download sequence, did you ask it to update software?

Have you tried unplugging at the mains and then rebooting?

yes i unplug it and reboot it and plug again the cables but i still get this msg connect to tp.

there is no reset button on this box like routers i m so confused and we missing the TV drama hehehe
