i have a sky+ hd setup with an output fed via an amplified distribution system to various rooms.
i'm having a problem controlling the sky+ hd box from my downstairs tv. I use a tv link magic eye. The red light is "0n" on the magic eye which shows there is a signal being received and i can see the current channel playing on the sky box. however i am unable to control the box, i.e. change channel etc. It is not the eye at fault as i have changed it for another eye which was working on my bedroom tv. again a signal is being received as the red light is on and the channel can be viewed but cannot change channel etc. both eyes work fine on the bedroom setup and the sky box can be controlled accordingly.
the downstairs problem has only occurred recently and was working perfectly before. And why can i receive the signal from the box but not send a command back to the box
