Copy & paste

For some reason I can not copy and paste when using firefox browser.
If I switch to IE it works fine.
I have no problem on other boards.
Is it just me?

No, periodically having the same problem here mate, I can do it right now while i am replying to you, but not always when just browsing a thread, I'm using Firefox as well.

Could be something to do with ath advert panels loading perhaps, will ask Chris.

I find it worse when copy from the board and paste to a pm.
It never works that way.

I've been thru the page code and cant see anything that would cause this problem. Do you get the same problem using both skins ?

Yes it is the same with both skins.
I am using the latest firefox but it was the same with the older versions.
If I switch to IE it works perfect.
Main problem is if I copy a link from the board I can not copy and paste in
reply's or when using pm:-bash

I was also facing the problem in FF but you can use the Edit>Paste to paste the text.

When you are in white type field - a simple right-click, to copy, doesn't work: I have never known it to work?

The workaround that I have been using for ages is the usual keyboard [control] X, C, or V [for windows] or my browser's 'EDIT' commands (as har_3100 said).

Weird isn't, LOL. Outside the white text field, I can copy/paste until my fingers are full of UHU.

Maybe the script assumes you don't need to copy anything - since you are given a 'reply' and 'quote' option and afterall thats all you are supposed to be doing (sic).

Yes BarMoo we also have to learn the keyboard shortcuts to utilise the features.
