hi all

just been readin the other Coship thread but its closed now.

I have a bigsat 8000 which i beleive is coship based. I tried patching it and now the red light is stuck on.

when i try to patch it now, i get err.3 or err.5 depending on the version.

does anyone know how to solve this?

this model has two software versions, one of them is 39.01, another one is 39.02

for Big Sat receivers it should be with 39.01. so you can not upgrade it into patch one. just forget it.


if you want to upgrade your receiver, you should upgrade 39.01 to 39.02 at first. and you have to ask help from your distributor

contacting distributor is rather a problem as i bought it on ebay from germany.

how do i know whether its 39.01 or 39.02


using latest official firmware from official site.

sw ver: s02b-299.r-b38.01
hw ver: sts-mb.02a-lilo


using the morocco earth firmware.

sw ver: s02b-298.r-b38.01
hw ver: sts-mb.02a-lilo

so is mine a 38.02?

also what coship reciever is the bigsat 8000 deluxe based on?

Hello,

i need help! I have a coship 2300A:
Software version S02B-2.99RB39.01
Harware STS-MB.02A-SZL0

I have taken a wrong software and now the receiver don´t start!
-At first i need the original soft.
-At twice i search a emusoft.

Please help me witch soft or link!

This might work:

1. Turn off receiver.
2. Start firmware update software and choose a *working* firmware to upload and press open.
3. Turn on receiver and upload should start.
4. Once finished turn receiver off then on again.

I have solution of your problems. First you MUST to upgrade the flash of your to B 39.02(because all the recents softwares are with B39.02). The second step and IT IS VERY IMPORTANT , YOU MUST UPGRADE YOUR RECEIVER WITH UPGRADETOOL 3.4 ( not with B34-38-39 or upgrade 31 ,32).Theflash must be upgraded with UPTOOL2.1.0 .All that is my experience with my BIGSAT 5500deluxe ,after 2 months of inactivity ,now i can see TPS POLSAT AU ....You can try severals times, at the end SUCCES.

I miss to precise that the Bigsat 5500deluxe=Coship5300A it's with CI and COSHIP2300A it's a FTA=Bigsat8000 .

samymy, do you know if its possible to flash my 38.01 to a 39.02?

and if so, where do i find the files?
