hi ive been usein a 1.9 mtr dish for 2 yr's now with a invacom c120 lnb with a pace 2600c1 box
but it recently went off the lnb was tamperd with so i redid the lnb but no joy so changed the bax still nowt, but i can get good signal strenth & Q on my humax 5100 of over 55% so i can still recive the fta stuff is there anyway i can use my ftv card in a cam? if so what cam & softwear do i need?
 
Well I am not sure but I think you are talking about using a cam in your Humax box is that correct?

If so and the humax has a cam slot I suggest you have a read of the dragon cam section
 
You could use a CAM, but unfortunately it wouldn't work for very long as the card would not receive its 'stay alive' signal. The card needs to go back into a Sky Digibox or another receiver that can pass the stay alive signal to the card, once in a while.

Unless you already have a CAM and programmer, it would probably work out cheaper to buy a used digibox from ebay.
